Manicuring | Nails

600 clock hours | 24 weeks

Certificate Program: Our Manicuring program is an intensive course, with graduates receiving a certificate upon completion.

Professional License Required: To practice Manicuring in Michigan or be employed in the field, students must pass the Manicurist Licensure Exam and apply for a license to the State of Michigan.

    Note: Students at Creative Hair School of Cosmetology, regardless of program of study,  are ineligible for VA educational benefits or Michigan Student Aid funds (including TIP).   • To receive a Manicuring license, you must meet the following requirements:

    • be at least 17 years of age;

    • be of good moral character;

    • have an education equivalent to the completion of the ninth grade; and

    • have successfully completed a course of study of at least 600 hours;

    • pass the State Board examinations;

    • and apply for a license online at the MyLicense website www.michigan.gov/miplus, submit the required fee to the State of Michigan.

  • Creative Hair School of Cosmetology's offered programs meet the State of Michigan's requirements. The school has not determined if any of the programs meet other state's requirements. You can find other state's requirements here:
