Creative Hair School of Cosmetology is Accredited by NACCAS
The National Accrediting Commission of Career Arts and Sciences is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a national agency for the institutional accreditation of postsecondary schools and departments of cosmetology arts and sciences, including specialized schools.

Creative Hair School complies with all provisions of section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act & the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) in that no qualified physically or intellectually disabled person, by reason of the disability, will be excluded from enrolling in a course of instruction. However, any disabled person seeking admission should be aware that the course requires a high level of intellectual acuity, manual dexterity, and coordination. An individual evaluation is necessary to determine employability in the beauty industry. Creative Hair School of Cosmetology’s facility is readily accessible for disabled students but there are no dedicated facilities, support, or transitional programs available.
Students have the responsibility to disclose and request accommodation through the campus manager. Communication with faculty or other staff members does not constitute fulfilling the ADA accommodation requirements. Verification through documentation from a health care provider is required prior to accommodations or adjustments being determined and fulfilled.

Creative Hair School of Cosmetology does not accept the transfer of credits or hours, except in the case of a formal articulation agreement (such as a teach-out agreement). Creative Hair School of Cosmetology is in a teach-out agreement with the former Regency Beauty Institute as of 2016. Please contact Creative Hair School of Cosmetology for more information.

Creative Hair School celebrates Constitution & Citizenship Day on or near September 17th of each year. Constitution Day commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787, recognizing all who are born in the U.S. or by naturalization, have become citizens.

2024 Drug & Alcohol Prevention Program
Creative Hair School of Cosmetology intends to provide a drug and alcohol-free environment for students, clients, staff, employees, and other individuals in the school. We are committed to protecting the safety, health, and well-being of all within the school. Any staff or students caught handling or using drugs on school grounds will be immediately terminated from the school. We have established a drug-free workplace and learning atmosphere.

Code of Conduct for Education Loans
Creative Hair School of Cosmetology prohibits any conflict of interest with the responsibilities of an agent of the school with respect to FFEL Program loans or private education loans.

The State of Michigan regulates the Cosmetology industry to protect consumers. In addition to other efforts, random and complaint-related, unannounced inspections to salons, spas, and other Cosmetology facilities are performed to verify compliance with the State of Michigan's Laws and Rules for Cosmetology.

Esthetics, Manicuring, Natural Hair- 400 hours
Cosmetology Instructor - 500 hours

Cosmetology Instructor: have met the experience requirements, if applicable
pass the licensure examination
