About Creative Hair School of Cosmetology
Creative Hair School of Cosmetology was founded in Flint, Michigan on October 1, 1999. It currently offers four educational programs: Cosmetology, Natural Hair, Manicuring, and Esthetics. Working under the direct supervision of licensed instructors, Creative Hair students apply their expertise and talent to provide quality services to the public. Over 1,000 students have graduated from Creative Hair School.
In 2016, Creative Hair School launched the Free Care for Your Hair initiative, which provides free salon services to Flint residents affected by the water crisis. Creative Hair School is committed to servicing Flint residents with proper hair maintenance through this philanthropical program.

Cosmetology students don’t just learn how to cut and color hair - they also get to learn the basics of natural hair care, skin care, and nail care in this 50-week program!
Students learn hands-on techniques for hair, skin, and nail care, why those techniques work, and necessary business skills like communication, customer service, and time management.

This dynamic family trio are the owners of Creative Hair School of Cosmetology. With a passion for the health and beauty industry, Corinthian Carouthers obtained a Cosmetology Unlimited Instructor’s license and later founded Creative Hair School in October 1999. Her children later joined her as partners. Her daughter, Corinthian II, oversees compliance and her son, Quintin, is responsible for financial aid.
