Certificate Program

Creative Hair School of Cosmetology brings you an intensive Manicuring/Nail Technician program that leads to licensure as a Manicurist/Nail Technician!

This program course outline/units of instruction & all activities within & are in direct accordance with the State of Michigan Board of Cosmetology.

Successful completion of the Manicuring program and the Michigan State Board of Cosmetology Manicurist Licensure Exam will award a License as a Manicurist/Nail Technician.

PROGRAM SCHEDULE:

Monday - Thursday: 5:30pm - 9:30pm

Saturday: 9:00am - 2:00pm

  • You must be at least 17 years of age and have the following:

    • Valid, Government-Issued Photo ID

    • High School Diploma (or) G.E.D

    • Social Security Verification

  • Physical stamina; long periods of sitting and bending

  • Attend an admissions open house to tour, bring in required documents, complete admissions paperwork, and schedule admissions interview.

  • Application: $25 (non-refundable)

  • The Manicuring program is not eligible for Federal Student Aid.

  • Upfront charges:

    $25 non-refundable application fee is due with the application.

    The $75 registration fee and $500 book & kit charge are due at Orientation.

    Tuition charge:

    The remaining $4,000 tuition charge is broken into (5) monthly payments

    $800 each month at 5 payments = $4,000

    Each monthly payment must be paid for students to progress through the next month of the program. Hours are not sent to the State until tuition is current.

    Tuition must be paid in full by end of the program in order for students to successfully complete and graduate from the program.

  • In order to graduate, Manicuring students must:

    • complete 400 hours,

    • maintain at least a 75% on all exams,

    • complete all Minimum Practical Applications required by the State of Michigan, and

    • have met all financial obligations.

    Upon graduation, students will receive a Certificate.
